One of our clientsspecialised in the nuclear industry is looking for an ldquoElectrical Design Manager with proven experience in the nuclear field to work under the following conditions.
Terms amp Condition
Job Location Barakah around 300 KMs from Abu Dhabi downtown.
Contract Duration 1 year Renewable
Work Schedule Resident 4 days per week and minimum 44 working hours per
week. 630 a.m. to 530 p.m.
Accommodation Provided at the site for self only. There are few consultants in the
U.A.E. who are currently working 4 days at the site and spend the 3 days weekend with family in Abu Dhabi. The consultant will
be responsible for all costs related to family accommodation living expenses etc. MPH can only provide visa mobdemob flights and medical coverage.
Transportation There is a company bus that can take you to and from site to Abu
Dhabi downtown on weekends.
Meals Provided at the site very good
Medical Coverage Provided for self and family if required
MobDemob Tickets Provided in economy class for self and family if required.
Salary Paid monthly and lumpsum tax free
Visa Provided by MPH
Annual Leaves 30 days per year but they are not paid.

Minimum requirements
- Bachelorrsquos degree Masters in Electrical Engineering
- Chartered or Professional Engineer
- Power Plant System Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in Nuclear Power Plant construction or Industry Operations with Nuclear BOP and TG systems amp Design Experience
- discipline members in the tasks resolution process in order to expedite solutions
- Knowledge of design techniques and tools in their discipline
- Ability to read technical drawings and virtual plant models
- English fluency
- MS Office
- Project Management Preferred
- Nuclear Safety Awareness
- Knowledge of nuclear safety design

- principals motivate and manage others
- Arabic fluency
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health safety and environmental management policies procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety and legislative compliance by delivering high quality service and a responsible environmental attitude in accordance with the HSE Management Program.
Duties amp Responsibilities
- Provide input to the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the Electrical Department in order to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and effective manner
- Assist in the development of staffing models for Companyrsquos different business units to ensure that appropriate resources are assigned to projects based on priority with a focus on Electrical Dept. manpower resources.
- Undertake the necessary initiatives in relation to overseeing the assigned PC to ensure adequacy of documentation and configuration control primarily of design reports for electrical equipment and components during the construction fabrication installation and operation of the power plant
- Undertake the required actions in cooperation with materials MM and quality surveillance QS departments to ensure that the assigned mechanical equipment installation activities are performed in accordance with the engineering design requirements project contract agreements schedule as well as Safety and Quality standards
- Review comment and accept design changes and nonconformance .item reviews and evaluations
- Undertake the required initiatives in order to provide technical input and expertise to the PC and Sub contractorsSubsuppliers electrical and project controlrelated deliverables as a functional team member
- Support the engineering licensing safety planning materials and quality surveillance
