Wastewater Engineer
The Engineering amp Project Management EampPM business line studies plans and oversees the construction of the Company’s new facilities including some of the biggest and most complex projects in the petroleum industry. Recently Saudi Aramco completed the largest capital program in its history that included new or expanded oil gas and petrochemical facilities raising maximum sustainable crude oil production capacity to 12 million barrels per day and significantly increasing gas production and processing capacities. Among the recently completed projects was the largest crude oil increment in the history of the industry Khurais with a production capacity of 1.2 million barrels per day. More challenges lie ahead with a slate of new or expanded oil gas refining and petrochemical projects in the works. EampPM also manages the Company’s Research amp Development Center where scientists investigate topics such as the desulfurization of crude oil advanced fuel formulations for next generation combustion engines and reservoir nanoscale robots Resbots™ for injection into reservoirs to record their properties
The main responsibilities of the role will be to
Provide high level technical consultations related to sanitary and industrial wastewater treatment as well as water resources management.
Support operationsproject related to management of sanitary and industrial wastewater treatment generated in refining gas operations oil production operations and company communities.
Participate in the development of new technologies and in the adaption of existing technologies to company operations.
Support the professional development of younger Saudi engineers in the field of sanitary and industrial wastewater treatment.
Updating Saudi Aramco engineering standards and procedures.
Leading environmental audits reviewing project designs and environmental impact assessments.
Review of environmental permit and assure compliance with the governmental agencies and environmental regulations
To be considered for the role you must have

The successful candidate must have the following experience competencies amp skillsets
Bachelor’s degree in EnvironmentalChemical or Civil Engineering or higher qualification from an accredited university.
A Professional Engineer P.E. or Chartered Engineer C.Eng. license or registration would be desirable but is not essential.
Must have a minimum of 9 years post graduate experience including wastewater treatment. Must have an excellent command of both written and verbal English.
