Job Description Technical Sales amp Operations ndash Abu Dhabi





This is a really excellent and unique opportunity in the UAE and to work with some of the slickest and innovative downhole activity measurement technology in the world today. The company manufacture from the UK and have a huge Engineering team of 30 staff based there with a real focus on RampD always developing their capabilities amp Improving their services at all times.



My client is looking Country based Technical Sales amp Operations CoOrdinator who will act as technical focal point in their designated region.



The aim is to have a person based in Abu Dhabi to increase revenue in the region and whilst servicing current customers operationally you will further penetrate the market gain new business. By the time the candidate is winning more work than can be managed operationally single handed the plan is to then hire an operations field team to directly report into you thus becoming the regionrsquos Country Manager. This will happen as fast as you can make it. The Technical Sales amp Operations incumbent in Saudi already has someone underneath him already in year 1.



Role and Responsibilities



bullAbiding by and maintaining adherence to Company Quality Health Safety and Environmental policies procedures and code of business conduct at all times.

bullMarketing the company and generating enquiries for down hole services

bullOffshore and Onshore operation of Companyrsquos service provision including overseas remote locations as required.

bullAttendance of meetings with clients and service companies as required in the region.

bullPre job planning amp equipment preparation prior to equipment mobilisation.

bullInspection and review of equipment on return to the facility.

bullCompany workshop based tasks in the support of onshore or offshore operations.

bullPreparation of required documentation including but not limited to manifests delivery notes operating procedures risk assessments operational reports and service reports.

bullTechnical sales Prejob meetings with client and postjob washup meetings including HAZOP or equivalent.

bullRecommending and getting approval for new or revised operating procedures andor equipment improvements or Products

bullReviewing enquiries both technically and commercially and producing customer quotes in conjunction with line management



This role will suit a dowhole Field Engineer with commercial and sales aspirations looking to develop their career OR a Technical Account Manager.
