General Summary
This position performs a variety of professional support work to implement and manage effective quality assurancecontrol for delivery of projectsprograms through quality assurancecontrol plans and procedures. The incumbent has deep knowledge of procedures and technical concepts within own area understands regulations and standards for own area and applies technical skills gained through formal education andor significant experience on related projects. Heshe evaluates and resolves problems by reviewing multiple sources of information and drawing conclusions. This role assists less experienced team members in using technology and provides guidance on quality standards to less experienced team members. The incumbent completes a variety of nonroutine technical assignments independently.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Performs and documents required inspections and tests to establish conformance to specification and drawing requirements including but not limited to
- Inspects incoming materials and equipment.
- Performs and documents construction inspections and tests.
- Monitors subcontractor inspection testing and construction activities.
- Identifies reports and documents nonconformances.
- Maintains project quality records.
- Reviews and approves required submittals.
- Manages and documents field changes.
- Manages document and version control.Basic Qualifications
Contractual requirements
- Minimum years of experience 7
- He shall have a university degree or equivalent and a total of seven years inspection experience or a high school diploma with a total of ten years inspection experience. As minimum he shall have three 3 years directly relating to supervision of construction activities in the Contract Scope of Work
