Located in Al39Quwaiiyah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia this college are looking to appoint a new Principal in time for the new academic year with the post due to start in time for September 2014. This all female college is being run in conjunction with UK based education operators and the government of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and offers an excellent leadership opportunity.
This role will see the successful applicant focusing on partnership and collaboration within the wider faculty both of this college and the other 2 colleges in the group holding responsibility for design direction and implementation of the student and employee journey in line with current values. There will be a requirement for the successful applicant to develop and embed operation procedures as well as taking on responsibility for the development of the college39s SAR report and the quality improvement plans across the colleges. You will take the lead on the Saidi Skills Standards Periodic Institutional Review ensuring the college is prepared for the process in good time.
Other duties include
Establish and Embed a Quality Improvement Framework amp Annual Plan
Provide Leadership to Quality Assurance and Heads of Department
Establish and Embed a culture of transparency with innovation and excellence at the heart of all operations
Play a key role in line with other stakeholders in developing and designing Learning Resources
Develop Vocational Programmes
Lead the administrative function
The client is looking for successful applicants who are able to demonstrate the following experience or qualifications
Candidates will have a relevant teaching qualification and be educated to degree level or equivalent. You should have experience of successful teaching and learning within an FE environment and experience working in the Middle East education sector would be desirable. You should be able to demonstrate those key qualities of effective leadership in the form of Motivating and empowering others to achieve demonstrate a readiness to listen when required and take the initiative when required making informed decisions be passionate about working with people have experience at leading a multinational team and demonstrate relevant adaptability in dealing with changing circumstances and demands.
