  1. SUMMARY



  2. The Network Administrator will be responsible for



    • Configuring maintaining and troubleshooting all network functions and applications including but not limited to




      • Microsoft Windows Server 20032008 Active Directory with Group Policy

      • Exchange Server 200320072010

      • Cisco Pix 501 and 506e firewalls

      • Cisco 800 1800 1941 series routers

      • DNS DHCP Terminal Services

      • Microsoft Internet Information Services

      • Windows Server Update Services 3.0

      • Backup Exec

      • Network access permissions

      • File and printer sharing




        • Providing firstlevel end user technical support including troubleshooting installing and updating desktop PC hardware software printers scanners phones and other peripherals




          • Windows XP Professional Windows 7

            • Network Printers




              • Managing data backup system.




                • Maintaining the Help DeskKnowledge Base system assigningclosing work orders running reports followup with endusers documenting solutions.




                  • Assisting with research and special projects as needed.




                    • This position may occasionally require afterhours or weekend work.

                      • Communicate with end users before during and after issues are resolved to ensure high level of satisfaction and customer service.

                        • Communicate status of issues with the IT Director andor Core Systems Manager.

                        • Cleanupfilingorganizing I.T. hardwaresoftware inventories as needed.

                              • Demonstrate a willingness and ability to learn basic functionality of the ITI core

                              • Demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness when finding solutions to problems.

                                    • Ad hoc training of end users to help ensure more efficient use of available technology systems and tools.
