CH2M HILL Construction Engineer MEP Saudi National Jeddah KSA
General Summary
This position is responsible for the leadership and management of projectprogram construction activities. This may take the form of direct responsibility to the client or being provided directly to the ProjectProgram Manager who maintains the primary client relationship and accountability. The incumbent is responsible for delivery of a construction task within a large construction project. This role has thorough knowledge of multiple subject areas or disciplines understands how own area integrates with and impacts other areas and is building understanding of business trends and industry issues and challenges. Decisions have an impact on the resource requirements scopeschedulesequence of project activities client andor team satisfaction risk profile quality healthsafetyenvironment and financial performance of a project.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Under general supervision the individual competently performs aspects of construction management assignments.
Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation selection and adaptation of construction management techniques procedures and criteria.
Provides some technical guidance to construction supervision.
Specific desirable attributes
- Experience in rectification and conversion of residential and commercial buildings from design through handover
- Mechanical electrical plumbing background and experience
Basic QualificationsContractual requirements
- Minimum years of experience 10
- Has experience in the building industry or similar industry and has project engineering experience on mega projects.
- Coordinates with engineering discipline lead engineers to ensure ontime completion of work activities and the implementation of project control procedures.
- Reviews and closely monitors project schedule and costs.
- Must have thorough knowledge of project engineering practices design details international codes and standards procedures and specifications.
