MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Reporting to the Accountant Assets amp Taxation as the Analyst Sales amp Inventory you will ensure the reporting of all sales related transactions for monthly reporting and plan activities monitoring of standards for sales movements and inventory valuation analysis of product inventories and reconciliation of consumables inventory.



JOB OBJECTIVES

• Manage and reconcile all sales related transactions


• Coordinate reconcile and analyze inventory valuations


• Analysis of monthend sales related and inventory transactions


• Monthly preparation and reconciliation of the agents schedule in conjunction with marketing department


• Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the Principal Stats and Trading Account submitted by the marketing department and management accounting for monthly reporting purposes


• Ensure that the consumables information is timeously completed for submission to the Accountant Planning amp Analysis for completion of the quarterly forecasts and yearly budget for Rio Tinto and statutory reporting purposes


• Ensure timeous submission of adhoc requests to relevant stakeholders


• Ensure all relevant system descriptions and procedures for the sales and inventory processes are documented to ensure continuity of operations and toward maintaining a clear indepth understanding of the relevant cycles


• Maintain and improve safety health and environmental standards and practices


• Ensure reporting matters are resolved timeously toward producing accurate internal external financial reports statements and any other requested reports and


• Perform fair and reasonable tasks related to the job and working environment at the discretion of the Accountant Assets amp Taxation.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
    
    

    
    
    • B Com Accounting Higher Diploma in a financial discipline
    
    
    • 2 years' experience in a similar environment and
    
    
    • Licence EB.
