A Dubai based company specialized in design, manufacturing and erection of steel structures for high rise and other complex structures, seeks a qualified Operations Manager with relevant experience and a proven track record in the field.
This role will primarily be Dubai factory based even though work at site will sometimes be needed. This position reports to the Managing Director and entails management of day to day operations of the factory and coordination of all activities in the factory and on site and ensures all activities are performed according to the required quality and safety requirements. This is a managerial and client facing role therefore people management and effective communication skills are essential. Responsibilities include management of timelines and budgets.
The ideal candidate would
1. Preferably have a degree in engineering;
2. Be already operating at managerial level
3. Have 5-10 years’ experience in structural steel industry in similar role. This is a must.
4. Understand the contracting business
5. Be a high energy individual
