Administration
• Manage the day-to-day administration of the School.
• Ensure that all student records are accurate and up to date at all times.
• Ensure that the School’s Management Information System (MIS) serves constituents’ needs.
• Provide information relating to the School and its students to government departments to required deadlines.
• Effectively manage examinations by ensuring that examining board regulations are met, timetables are drawn up, certification issues are dealt with, statistical data are validated, and fees and charges are checked.
• Design, develop and maintain a procedural manual for all administrative tasks.
• Liaise with Artan Holding’s Procurement and Inventory team to manage school procurement, including annual requisition of equipment, materials and other sundry supplies as required.
• Liaise with Artan Holding on matters relating to the management of the School.
Finance
• In-conjunction with the Executive Director, create and implement an overall strategic development plan of the School.
• In liaison with Executive Director and the Principal, develop the School’s annual budget to agreed deadlines.
• Manage student enrolment in line with agreed financial targets.
• Act as a liaison between the School and Artan Holding’s Finance and Accounting team.
Marketing and Promotion
• In conjunction with the Executive Director, create and implement a strategic marketing plan.
• Develop new business and generate new revenue streams.
• Promote the school through various marketing channels and communications.
• Act as a liaison between the School and Artan Holding’s Marketing Communications team.
Facilities Management
• Manage and secure all business assets within the School and staff housing premises.
• Conduct regular Health and Safety risk assessments of the school and staff housing premises and facilities and ensure local regulations are met.
• Work with the Group Facilities Management team to ensure the interior and exterior of the school and staff housing premises are kept in good order.
• In conjunction with the Group Facilities Management team, ensure general maintenance routines are adhered to and any repairs are fixed promptly.
• In conjunction with the Group Facilities Management Team, coordinate any building improvement works with minimal disruption to the School timetable.
• Direct and supervise caretaking and security staff as required in day-to-day maintenance and cleaning issues.
• Manage preparations as required for events held on School premises.
Human Resources
• Act as the liaison between the School and Artan Holding’s HR team on all staff recruitment matters.
• Act as a liaison between the School and Group Facilities Management Team for all teacher housing maintenance issues.
• Ensure that HR policies and procedures are followed.
• Ensure that best practices are developed and implemented at the school.
• Conduct annual appraisals and performance reviews of non-academic staff.
• Delegate and manage staff responsibilities and accountabilities as appropriate.
• Encourage open lines of communication and reporting culture.
