Fire and Safety Officer Company Profile view all Jobs Posted Date 15042014Job Reference ON CP FSODescription of Fire and Safety Officer Job in Saudi Arabia Other To assist the Fire Prevention Manager in eliminating reducing the risk of loss resulting from fire or smoke damage to Almarai resources including but not restricted to Personnel Buildings Plant and Equipment Product and Raw Materials and information retrieval systems both paper and electronics. Carry out regular inspections of all workplaces to identify unsafe plant unsafe working conditions and unsafe practices.
To ensure that security and loss prevention of plant facilities equipment machinery raw finished goods components and other company assets are maintained and in secured condition by setting up fixed and mobile security surveillance systems and procedures and by close monitoring of all areas to capture events.
To safeguard patrol and monitor any theftpilferage sabotage vandalism occuring in and out of CPP Plant.
Fire Risk Reduction Reduce or eliminate where possible fire risk business risk and risk to employee from fire related accidents or injuries.
Train and lead a fire team Train and lead a dedicated fire team at CPP.
Plant Security Management Ensure security management becomes an integral part and occurence of daytoday operations. Assist the Divisional Security Manager in planning of annual securiy programs such a security risk assessment inspection and audit.
Contingency Planning Ensure development of contingency plans for incident management events e.g. Desctruction of company property assests.
Security Plan Assessment Carry out security risk assessment in vulnerable areas such as manufacturing plants and warehouses identifying haphazard physical security give recommendations as necessary.
Loss Prevention Monitoring System Setup maintain and monitor the CCTV CClosedCircuit TV and other loss prevention system in strategic locations or potential area for property loss sabotage or vandalism.
Incident Investigation and Reporting Ensure that incident such as loss pilferage sabotage vandalism fraud etc. are investigated and reported to the Management.
Security Audits Work with line managers as appropriate for independent plant security audits. As deemed necessary carry out random unannounced audit or covert operation. Carry out observation in obscurity of people flow walking in and out of the plant.
Point of Contact Serve as primary point of contact for alarm activation notifications security breach situations and other emergency cases. Skills Previous experience as a firefighter with either civil fire brigade or large multinational company fire team
