CH2M HILL Document Controller Saudi National Jeddah KSAIn support of our Nitaqat program we welcome applications from Saudi Arabian nationals for the following opportunity
CH2M HILL is providing project management services for King Abdullah University of Science and Technology KAUST and the neighboring town of Thuwal in Saudi Arabia. Situated on the scenic Red Sea an hour north of the second largest Saudi Arabian city and seaport Jeddah KAUST is a truly spectacular facility and is slated to become a major center of research training the next generation of scientists engineers and technologists in the Middle East.
We have secured a fouryearplus contract with Saudi Arabian Oil Company Saudi Aramcofor a wide array of projects at KAUST. They include specialized laboratories research centers innovation and technology incubation centers administration buildings a convention center mosques residential and recreational facilities research park infrastructure and security systems. The work also includes site development communications equipment utilities roads parking and landscaping. In addition to the 14squaremile KAUST campus the program will be developing the town of Thuwal itself with the construction of schools a clinic mosques roads Coast Guard and National Guard facilities and a fishing harbor.

General Summary
This role will utilise your existing skills experience and may require shortterm management of people or project resources to accomplish results. You will have a thorough knowledge of the relevant subject areas or disciplines and understand how your area integrates with and impacts other areas. This position uses communication skills to exchange technical information with others and interacts with diverse teams across a geography.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Provides support and maintenance of the document control system for large projects.
Identifies logs and tracks life cycle of drawings specifications RFIs submittals and other documents with all revisions.
Maintains files of drawings specifications reports and other project documentation
Reviews documents for accuracy completeness and correct numbering system.
Ensures documents meet standards for issue.
Prepares process and status reports.
Assigns and monitors document numbers.

- Minimum years of experience 10
- Has experience in the building industry or similar industry and has project engineering experience on mega projects.
- Coordinates with engineering discipline lead engineers to ensure ontime completion of work activities and the implementation of project control procedures.
- Reviews and closely monitors project schedule and costs.
