Rotation 4 month with a 2 week home leave.EducationQualifications Bachelors degree in engineering business administration sciences related technical field or equivalent experience. At least 15 years experience in planningscheduling with at least 8 to 10 years on major EPC projects. Experience using Primaveraequivalent required.Scope Plans organises and supervises activities of estimating cost or project control teams assigned to projects. The incumbent must be capable of applying diversified knowledge of estimating cost control and planningscheduling principles and practices and independently making decisions on significant estimating and cost control problems and methods.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Determines staffing requirements and assigns personnel to projects as required. Initiates and monitors progress of all types of construction estimates and controls used for studies proposals or project control budgets. Reviews and approves completed assignments. Correlates escalation patterns of project costs ensuring accuracy of estimates and reports through comparison with historical records trends and other available information. Coordinates timely exchange of information between estimating cost control planningscheduling and other engineering departments. Attends and participates with engineering and client staff in estimating cost and schedule review meetings. Advises project management of cost impact of proposed design or construction changes. Supervises independent third party reviews and evaluations. Develops and implements estimating cost analysis and scheduling standards and procedures.
