Saudi Arabian Bechtel Company SABCO has worked as the management services contractor directly with our client the Saudi Arabian Royal Commission for the last 30 years. We are the Engineering Procurement and Construction EPC managers managing design submissions from local AE firms contract and procurement management and overseeing the actual construction work being performed by local contractors and subcontractors in Jubail Industrial City.
Projects we are actively involved with in Jubail include new residential communities petrochemical industrial zone site preparation various commercial buildings and structures mosques schools hospitals sports facilities clinics a new 30000 student university utility services and infrastructure electrical substations lift stations roads and highways port amp pipeline expansions and more.
Position Description
Work independently while at the same time supporting the client's communication within the organization across senior management with legal representatives the government bodies various external contacts and as necessary political figures in the community.
Summarize highlevel view of programs for each business stream.
Summarize proposal and request submissions received from the senior managers and others and provide analytical recommendations such as risk evaluation alignment to business strategic goals etc.
Using a strong foundation in leadership skills work to understand the risks of decisionmaking and assess the external environment related to internal environment culture competencies technologies and culture with a view to provide recommendations and guidance.
Support the strategic planning amp goal setting processes. This would involve preparing analyzing and presenting regular reports and presentations tabled at the management meetings.
Challenge and be used as a sounding board tofor senior management.
Contribute to determining which organizational tools to adopt and helping to push these out through the organization.
To have access to external networks to obtain relevant market intelligence and use appropriately to support decision making.
Establishes and maintain effective working relationships with the client's executive leadership direct reports other senior managers etc. Effectively represent the office of the CEO. Acts as a liaison between CEO and senior management other staff members and customers.
Help to create and maintain a healthy organization culture while continually promoting supporting and developing organizational excellence through the CEO's office.
Receive and converse with CEO guests.
Works to enhance the overall effectiveness of the CEO. Handles the details that allow CEO to focus on the business.
Prepare adhoc analysis and reports.
Skills amp Experience
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering related discipline as well as a degree or a Masters in Business or Economics.
Fluent in English and Arabic
Extensive experience in business decision making experience including senior leadership roles preferably with Corporate Board level experience.
Strong analytical problem solving organizational communication presentation and management skills.
Experience at a top consultancy with international work experience and business exposure.
Independent thinking vision orientated with outside insight on the challenges to support CEO goals.
Experience in managing management teams preferably in a global environment.
Ability to contribute to the management discussions amp provide support and guidance at senior management level is paramount.
Experience of successfully delivering change management through large scale organizations.
Proactive selfmotivated and able to deliver high quality results in an efficient manner and under time pressure.
Handles highly confidential information with the utmost discretion and acts with diplomacy at all times.
