We are approved contractor since 1982 for sophisticated and one of the largest Projects in Saudi Arabia.
We have the following vacancy for DERRICKMAN. You shall work for our client (largest oil & Gas company in KSA) as a contractor employee of SRACO Company in Rig Site Assignment Kingdom Wide, Saudi Arabia.
POSITION: Derrickman
DURATION: Long Term
RIG WORKING HOURS: 12 hours a day, 7 days a week (excess no. of hours will be paid overtime)
DAILY RATE: Paid on the last day of cycle completion, will be provided after we received your CV & information
ROTATION: 28 days ON X 28 days OFF (non-working/travel/training days is not paid)
AIR TICKET: Free Economy Class Round Trip
ACCOMODATION: Rig Site provided by Saudi Aramco
BENEFITS: Transportation, Medical, Accident, Automobile & Life Insurances in international standard
ADMINISTRATIVE: Free Visa Processing, medical & related cost will be reimburse
Job Description
1. Load and unload boats and trucks safely.
2. Working on rig floor: demonstrate the ability to successfully handle tubulars utilizing the proper equipment and technique, namely air, top drive, rig tongs pipe spinners, iron rough neck, collar clamp, etc.
3. Adequately apply safety precautions while testing, logging, etc.
4. Perform routine maintenance on rig floor and handling tubular goods, understand and demonstrate the ability to conduct minor repair of rig tongs, pipe slips, collar lamp and pipe elevator.
5. Inspect and maintain tubular box and pin connection, dies, nuts, bolts, on drilling equipment for wear and / or damage.
6. Perform under general supervision, minor electrical work, heavy carpentry, metal cutting, pipe filling, machine maintenance and others.
Requirement
Have a minimum of 4 years training on the job and experience as a rig man, including both floor and derrick work.
Must be able to understand work directions in English.
Familiar with the nomenclature of rotary drilling equipment.
Must be physically fit.
Have a good sense of balance and coordination to be able to work safely at heights in excess of 100 feet.
Willing to perform hard and hazardous work under extreme weather conditions involved in drilling wells and living at isolated well sites.
