- Must hold a Typhoon Q annotation in a relevant trade ARMMech or AV
- Must be educated to HNC level or recognised equivalent or have relevant experience supported by formal recorded workplace applied related training.
- Must have successfully completed a recognised aircraft engineering apprenticeship or similar practical aircraft maintenance training programme delivered by a NATO air force or approved aircraft maintenance training provider.
- Experience working as a tradesmen conducting Line Maintenance on fastjet aircraft on an operational military flying unit in a NATO air force.

- Requires an understanding of RSAF and RAF engineering operating procedures.
- A background in the aircraft maintenance training environment.
- Exposure to Typhoon QRA activity.
- nbspRecruitmentThe job holder should have the following background
- Currently working in an aircraft maintenance organisation conducting or supporting Line Forward Maintenance of military fastjets
- Demonstrable experience working as a certifying technician conducting Line Forward Maintenance on a busy military operational flying unit.
- Fully conversant with European Aviation Safety Agency aircraft maintenance regulations or military equivalents such as UK MoD Defence Standard 05130.
- Experience conducting Line Maintenance of aircraft in a Gulf Coast Country.
- nbspnbspThe Job Holder is accountable for the following
- Performing maintenance activities on Typhoon aircraft.
- Ensuring that all personnel engaged in activities in his Area of Responsibility.nbsp Follow the correct practices and observe safety precautions thereby complying with the requirements and limitations detailed in the Salam Support Safety Case Report.
- Ensuring that no one is exposed to any unnecessary or uncontrolled risk in his Area of Responsibility as far as is reasonably practicable.
- Performing maintenance activities iaw a continuing airworthiness and maintenance governance framework
- Perform good husbandry practices.
- Perform FOD control measures as directed by management.
- Comply with Safety Management Systems and Maintenance Error Management Systems.
- Performing aircraft handling and flight line activities when required.
- Training of Squadron AGF engineering personnel in the ground handling fuelling and flight servicing of Typhoon aircraft.
- Training of Squadron AGF aircrew to carry out flight servicing specifically the Aircrewnbsp Landaway Flight Servicing Schedule ALFSS.
- Providing extra training for personnel who fail to meet required standards.
