Major Purpose of the Role
Carry out all items and duties of mechanical and electrical engineering and design work required within the company.
Ensure that the construction work is complete safely and on time.
Key Responsibilities
•Design production processes
•Design work and edit AutoCAD graphic chart within the Projects department and update all sites drawing related libraries
•Prepare layout drawings and review it for accuracy
•Organize documentation correspondence requisitions and schedules with MS Project
•Prepare equipment index data sheets specification for field
•Liaise with Technical team and vendors for technical information and specifications
•Manage document control database
•Receive issue and register large volumes of official correspondence and technical documents tofrom client and any other parties
•Utilize Electronic Data Management System EDMS as the main platform for document control
•Coordinate the overall installation of equipment in collaboration with customer contractors and staff.
•Manage the installation process by directing activities of contractors and workers from different trades
•Maintain accurate and up to date records associated with installation
•Provide timely accurate and consistent communications with customer contractors and project workers
•Direct activities of workers from different trades and responsible to prepare schedules to construction personnel
•Apply good safety practices as required by Authorities and Company policies
•Assist Project Managers in development of installation specifications
•Support to service department
•Determine work methods that result to improve efficiency and productivity
•Ensure that the reports records time sheets and invoices are approved
•Maintain the coordination with the supervisors in the construction site in order to determine the working priorities
•Provides training to the staff
