Operations Support Manager
Reporting to the Eastern Hemisphere Director the position will be based in UAE and be responsible providing full technical and operational support to our customers in the Eastern Hemisphere. For this role you will count with a team of field engineers maintenance engineers and geoscientists to support our customer base manage our equipment fleet and promote business development.
The successful candidate will be energetic and have the required tenacity knowledge and above all great interpersonal skills to form a high performance team. Relationship building will be a vital aspect of the role.
Key responsibilities
• Provide effective support to our customers by means of highly professional operational maintenance technical and interpretation assistance.
• Promote business development by providing marketing support where required building strong customer relationships understanding and anticipating customer needs.
• Perform log and interpretation report quality control
• Write andor present technical papers in meetings or professional publications
• Participate and take the lead in client meetings for project planning follow up support and technical advice
• Ensure thorough root cause analysis is performed for every relevant nonconformance incident and action plan is executed until solutions are in place and have addressed the issues
• Hire coach and develop team members
• Assist in preparation of price quotations
• Handle special projects as required
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree along with 10 years of directly related wireline logging management experience in a leader organization is essential
• Have exposure to corrosion evaluation services is highly desired
• Selfstarter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external customers
• Well connected with extensive network in the region would be a great plus
• Position requires excellent English language skills and preferably Arab language skills also
• Individual must be selforganized highly productive able to work independently and provide high quality written reports.
