The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate key technical skills by working closely with the program team guiding more junior developers amp delivering Quality software solutionsEssential Responsibilities
Identify develop evaluate and introduce engineering solutions to meet near term and long range engineering needs
Work closely with systems teams in requirements gathering and software design
Interact with global teams to promote consistency and maximize synergies across common software platforms and overall product design
Maintain an active role in developing and defining the state of the art in own technical specialty in order to anticipate apply adapt or develop technologies for product introduction quality performance cost improvements and problem resolution in meeting current and future business needs including adherence to schedules and estimated costs
Deliver quality documentation and test specifications of designed software
Effectively communicate and provide recommendations through the analysis preparation and presentation of technical data to internal and external GE customers using reports records and lettersQualificationsRequirements
Bachelor degree in an engineering disciplineComputer Science Electrical Engineering Electronics
Engineering Telecommunication Engineering Biomedical Engineering or equivalent from premier institutes with good scores
Atleast 8 years experience developing software for complex systems or computerized products
Experience in object oriented design methodology and various programming languages including CC and Java Android
Strong Implementation experience in Android space with experience in Cloud Connectivity feature development
Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAdditional Eligibility Qualifications Desired Characteristics
Master Degree in Computer Science Engineering or related computer field
Experience in software platform and applications development
Experience in ScrumAgile development and SDLC
Strong Design and Analysis skills with exposure to mobile ecosystem and product development.
Experience with test driven development

Has personally championed compliance amp quality initiatives
Problem analysis and resolution skills
