Sales Supervisor

1. Preferably experienced within a Retail/Wholesale Industry for Cosmetics, Perfumes and Beauty Products.

2. Supervise and ensure that every member of the sales team carries out his duties in both a satisfactory and efficient manner and conforms to the company policy on appearance and demeanor.

3. To ensure that the sales team is a ware of all Company policy, Products and Guidelines and performs their duties in the most economical manner, including carrying out checks on journey planning and customer call frequency.

4. To ensure that every customer receives a sales call, and a regular merchandising service within the specified duration as laid down from time to time.

5. To ensure that all brand presence in retail customers’ outlets is complete, clean properly stocked an in accordance with the relevant brand policy and Set Planograms.

6. To ensure that every project required by the concerned Department is complete within the time-scale.

7. To ensure proper target allocation and customer segregation among sales team enabling them to achieve assigned targets both sales and collections.

8. Order monitoring as per customer’s strength to avoid dumping and expiry.

9. To be involved with training programs of existing salesmen & merchandisers as well as for new recruits.

10. To assume the administration of the designated section in the checking of work sheets, call cards, sales reports, vehicle log, expenses, time cards, or other reports as may from time to time be required and that timely and accurate records are maintained.

11. On the instruction from his superiors to be prepared to take over the duties of any other Section Supervisor or member of his sales team, should the need arise, due to sickness, vacation or other eventuality.

12. To identify, propose and negotiate with retail customers for the placement of such brand presence, including counter units, floor stands, displays, promotional events and other merchandising tools as may be required by Vendors and Brand Management

13. To attend and contribute to all meetings as required.

14. To maintain strict levels of confidentiality with regard to all areas of the business.

15. To maintain good staff and customer relations and a high personal level of conduct at all times.

16. To provide weekly written reports on all activities of his section to Area and category manager.
