Under the directions of the Retail Store Manager, the successful candidate shall be responsible for the daily routine activities of the store. He shall be effectively assigning and scheduling store employees in order to meet store requirements. As he will be monitoring the store’s performance and follows-up on work results of the store’s staff, the Retail Store Supervisor must have excellent team management and motivational skills. Having worked previously within a business with a strong reputation for customer excellence, the ideal candidate must have very strong sales experience, friendly, hard-working and keen to put customers first.
Duties and Responsibilities
• In-charge of monitoring and supervising daily operational activities of staff such as shift schedules, employee documentation (e.g. IDs, personnel work papers, etc.), sales advisors’ stock and inventory, daily sales reports among others.
• Monitor and continuously improve store operations’ and Sales Advisors’ performance to ensure that they are in line with the store’s targets and objectives.
• Directly responsible for the store’s warehouse and related activities.
• Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
• Promote awareness of the company brand through its products and services in the community.
• Ensure that the program, operational and personnel policies and procedures for the store are followed and implemented.
• Oversee and manage daily operational activities of the store.
• Provide high quality services to walk-in customers.
• Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
• Report sales performance, progress and issues to the Store Manager; generate weekly/monthly/quarterly sales reports.
• Ensure availability and good condition of merchandise (e.g. posters, flyers, flyer’s stand etc.) in the store.
