Job Description
Major Duties and Job Responsibilities Carries out regular routine and breakdown maintenance of Field Instruments Flow Meter Pressure Transmitters Pressure Switches Pressure Gauges Differential Pressure Transmitter Level Transmitters Level Switches Temperature Vibration Transducers and sensors WQE and its related Indicator and Recorders
Attend OnCall duty Round the clock for any emergency problems related to Field Instruments equipments. Assist his foreman in troubleshooting and fault finding procedures. Assist other section foreman technician in completing combined works. Prepare spare requirement to Foreman Engineer and withdraw it’s from the stores. Assist his foreman in testing and commissioning of old and new equipments installation. Assist his foreman in inspection of contractor’s works. Performs other related duties as needed upon request by the immediate supervisor.
Work Environment
Working in open desert area climbing on water towers up to 50 meter height.
Working in chemical surroundings.
Extensive traveling between venuesdepots during normal and or outside office hours.
90 Site work 10 Office.
Other Significant Requirements
Good in speaking reading and writing of English for manual readings and communication purposes.
Knowledge of the Reservoir Pumping Station Operation Systems associated equipments.
Able to read and understand Electrical instrumentation asbuilt drawings schematic control drawings O M manuals and procedure.
Be able to work with people or group.
Know all safety aspects of the work to prevent accidents.
Be able to be on a standby basis.
Have a Qatari driving license.
Fully aware of safety requirements international standards.
Ability to work onsite independently
Trouble shooting of PLCSCADA Relay logic control system and repairs of Electronic Cards of Instruments and equipments of Pumping stations and R.O. Plant.
