Cost Manager

. THE ROLE

Reporting to the Project Controls Manager for the overall estimating cost control and coordination of the project.



MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

acirc128cent Lead and manage a team of Quantity Surveyors

acirc128cent Developing and maintaining estimating and cost control and reporting standards and procedures

acirc128cent Preparation and maintenance of the project cost break down structure budget and integrated cost report and cashflow

acirc128cent Establishment and maintenance of a program cost benchmarking database

acirc128cent Analysing and reporting on Consultants and Contractors cost reports and cashflows

acirc128cent Preparation of monthly and weekly reports

acirc128cent Preparing and making presentations



EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

acirc128cent BSc in related subject or equivalent experience

acirc128cent MRICS or equivalent

acirc128cent 10 years post graduate experience

acirc128cent Sound knowledge of all engineering and commercial aspects of major civil and infrastructure projects including roads bridges and utilities

acirc128cent Experience in conceptual estimating cost planning financial accounting expenditure profiling cost reporting and forecasting costs at completion

acirc128cent Ability effectively monitor and analyse cost identify trends and recommend corrective actions

acirc128cent Experienced user of MS Office advanced MS Excel user and Primavera Contracts Manager

acirc128cent Excellent report writing skills

acirc128cent Previous experience in the Middle East is an advantage

acirc128cent Fluent English both written and spoken
