Job Purpose: Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships. Maintaining the existing customer relationship.
Job Duties:
-Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
-Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners
-Discovering and exploring opportunities both international and local.
-Maintaining customer relationships and ensuring customer loyalty through excellent customer service as well as meeting all client needs appropriate to their business, is a key role within Business Development
-Works as part of a team and closely with other departments within the organisation.
-Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
-Assesses their potential in the target market, and provides market intelligence and value added advice on the opportunities and challenges of doing business in the host country.
-Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
-Researches business needs of local contacts prior to initiating a relationship.
-Establishes effective working relations with local contacts; enlarge the local contact base and promote.
-You will be instrumental in devising and implementing the strategy for meeting sales performance targets.
-Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
-Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
