The waterproofing systems Project Engineer is responsible to plan, execute and complete waterproofing projects using manpower, material and resources assigned as per the job card while confirming to prescribed systems and procedure. The candidate needs to understand good practices in designing & detailing, the various types of waterproofing systems, their limitations and applications. The candidate for this position must possess a broad array of knowledge in waterproofing systems including basic hydrology, soil mechanics and concrete.
Responsibilities:
- Complete one or more small or medium sized projec independently.

Execute the project within man hours and material quantities approved in the job card within budget and schedule.
- Prepares the measurement sheets and get it approved by the Client on time as per client’s billing
schedule.

Coordinates with client on daily basis to get the
work front secured to complete the project within timelines as per agreed schedule.

Check quality of work carried out and take corrective action if required.
- Maintain ‘Zero’ defects & reworks as far as possible.
- Coordinate with clients representatives to ensure smooth and accurate flow of work.
- Attend meetings with sub-contractors, clients, project execution team and management.
- Resolve workers disputes if any at site and ensure discipline and punctuality.
- Ensure that basic facilities are provided to the Workers including transportation, drinking water, dining facilities etc.
- Clarify disputes on measurement sheet with the concerned PM & QS.
- Understand the time frame available to complete the projects involved.
- Plan and arrange the material procurement as per the site requirement and avoid procurement delays
because of work schedule.

Prepare method statements and ITPs to ensure
compliance with the overall design and regulations.
