Job purpose amp Scope

• The position is responsible to provide complete technical amp management support in all aspects related to logistics marine amp air for BROWN FIELD projects meeting each project schedule needs.

  Principal Accountabilities

  
  

  
  
  • Study the logistics needs time line weights etc. of each project and provide advice to project team as required. Incorporate projects logistics requirements in to BROWN FIELD projects Logistics Integrated Plan document.
  
  
  • Coordinate and prepare the integrated and optimized logistics plans to meet the need of all the projects keeping in view the resource sharing for cost benefits.
  
  
  • Ensure projects logistics resources are planned meeting project schedule completion requirements.
  
  
  • Carry out required studies and data analysis for related marine requirements specific to projects.
  
  
  • Develop plan and implement people and materials transportation strategies and network.
  
  
  • Assist in the development implementation and coordination of project logistics interface management plans.
  
  
  • For marine related scope Coordinate and prepare the logisticsmarine related Scope of Work and when required the prepare the requirementsspecifications related to marine spread for including in ITTs.
  
  
  • Review technical evaluation of Bids related to marine related scope.
  
  
  • Provide technical advice Marine to BROWN FIELD projects team.
  
  
  • Carry out review and participate in marine Risk Assessments. Participate in marine spread inspections.
  
  
  • Develop review and implement the Marine Standard and Regulations.
  
  
  • Assists in the management of the Logistics interface requirement between BROWN FIELD FIELD and other concerned projects.
  
  
  • Assists in the management of the interface requirement between COMPANY and COMPANY in relation to Logistics support.
  
  
  • Coordinate with FIELD Logistics Team and provide necessary inputs.
  
  
  • Assist in preparing studies business case and data analysis as required.
  
  
  • Participate with the interface team in order to meet set targets KPIrsquos.
  
  
  • Assist in the development implementation and coordination of project interface management plans.
  
  
  • Assist with developing and preparing interface processes procedures and systems to manage Logistics services and activities for all Logistic teams.
  
  
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the MOC Management of Change related to Material Handling Marine support and transportation of people and supplies to support to Project.
  
  
  • Prepare reports and statistics.
  
  
  • Review of logistics Risk Register
  
  
  • Assist in preparing the training and development program of U.A.E Nationals.
  
  
  • Participate in the initiation and follow up of U.A.E. Nationals Training Program.

    • Enforces waste chemical handling and disposal procedures and improves Waste Management practices.
    
    
    • Advises on required Safety training for personnel in coordination with HSE and MD.
    
    
    • Implements work scopes as per government legislation Company safety management system and the best industry practices and procedures.
      
      
      

      Organizational Relationships Work Contacts

      
      

      
      
      • Regular contacts with Logistic Manager and team leaders.
      
      
      • Regular contacts with all the offshore site Managers HSE Managers.
        
        
        

        Independence of Operations and Decisionmaking Authority

        
        

        
        
        • Operates independently in determining priorities and in setting work programs and schedules. Discusses operational aspects with the Team Leader.
          
          
          

          Minimum Requirements

          
          

          
          
          • Master Mariner Certificate of Competency foreigngoing or Degree related to Ocean Engineering Nautical Science.
          
          
          • 10 years post qualification in the marine industry of which 5 years in offshore oil gas marine projectsrsquo support operations including preparing specification and auditing all types of marine spread requirement.
          
          
          • IT literate.
          
          
          • High level of business acumen developed in a competitive environment.
          
          
          • Proficient in English language both oral and written.
