Duties and Responsibilities


You will initiate detailed work outline for processes andor equipment enhancements prepare technical proposals and studies of proposed projects. Contribute with operations engineering relating to plant processes and equipment productivity and reliability energy efficiency safety cost savings innovation and new technology applications.


Participate in studies and join others to prepare failure analysis reports for piping tanks fire protection systems and other mechanical equipment. Review job safety analysis JSA for work related to mechanical equipment. Provide support during Management of Change MOC if required and assist and provide support in developing PO for the mechanical equipment. Write failure and investigation reports if required. Review mechanical equipment lists and maintenance intervals. The engineer will be reporting directly to the Operations Engineering Unit Supervisor and is expected to work closely with Facility Operations maintenance personnel and other supporting engineers in areas relating to the bulk plant and pipeline facility throughout performance analysis debottlenecking planning and enhancements.
