Duties and Responsibilities

You will resolve concerns addressed by customers such as discrepancies mode change of operations for metering skids or expansion. Review and approve requests and changes pertaining to metering control systems. Resolve and address control valve issues and tuning to optimize performance and reliability. Conduct or participate in investigation failures of metering control systems valves and gas measurement systems. Interface with the engineering office for preparing the scope of work for BI 19 projects gas samplers and replacing obsolete equipment.


Review and approve drawings and the scope of work for capital project packages. Prepare inhouse design packages for instrumentation and control systems such as the change mode of operations changing set points and adding transmitters. Participate in commissioning capital projects such as filtration stations RTU upgrades and leak detection system installations. Manage and administer access to all supervisory metering control systems RTUs and other control equipment as required by company audits and practice. Conduct special testing studies such as Class I valve failure mode failed filters metering validations and gas measurement discrepancies. Prepare front engineering studies for special projects such as gas sampling automation gas measurement automation and BI19 packages. Interface and address issues and concerns highlighted by auditors or compliance groups.
