Financial Controller, Bahrain - Gulf Connexions

Our client, a prestigious ICT organization is looking for a Senior Financial Controller to join their expanding team in Bahrain. The successful candidate has to oversee the day to day activities of the finance team, ensure accuracy of financial transactions recorded in corporate financial system and provide the management with timely financial information to enable and facilitate well-informed management decisions.



Responsibilities:

• Prepare plans, programmes and budgets on time and effectively to meet financial and operational requirements.

• Act as the key point of contact for the external auditors ensuring timely completion of audit and an unqualified audit opinion.

• Ensure that all the accounting systems and related output comply with both statutory and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) requirements.

• Be accountable for fund control and variance analysis as well as update senior management on adverse trends in order to take timely corrective action.

• Ensure that every subordinate staff has the correct financial information, skills and knowledge to carry out their duties in a professional and efficient manner.
