• Assess demand forecasts and recommend medium to long-term capacity requirements.
• Coordinate with Head - Sales to built accuracy of sales forecasts.
• Convert sales forecasts to real time demand plans by factoring historical sales pattern, sales promotion program & marketing inputs to develop a production plan.
• Develop procurement plan basis anticipated production plan and coordinate with Purchase Manager to ensure service ability of production plan.
• Endeavor to improve service level KPI’s and reduce the extend of lost sales.
• Develop a distribution plan and day to day delivery plans in consonance with sales orders and in stock finished goods.
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Logistics Manager for order service status.
• Review and Monitor non-moving/slow moving stocks and escalates for liquidation well ahead of expiry.
• Carry out periodic studies on production flows and provide necessary intelligence for portfolio rationalization.
