We are looking for a Electrical Engineer to be based at Jeddah KAIA Airport Saudi Arabia.
Your Role
To undertake the detailed electrical installation design and produce in conjunction with local electrical installation sub contractors the electrical installation drawings for the APM wayside systems PSD Comms and Signalling. To coordinate site electrical engineering activities throughout the Jeddah APM project from design interface with the client and subcontractors through to installation and test and commissioning of the APM system at the airport. To ensure that Bombardier's Quality standards are met by supplier and installation subcontractors.
Your Responsibilities
Assist in the selection of the local site electrical installers.
Undertake the detailed electrical installation design in conjunction with local site installation subcontractor including the production of the electrical installation drawings that include cable routes for Comms signalling and PSD cables and wiring. Design to be done according to local codes.
Coordinate the electrical installation with the client and the local sub contractors.
Ensure the installation works are carried out and supplied items are provided and controlled in accordance with Bombardier's Quality processes Project Quality Plans Engineering Specifications and report and track to closure any nonconformances arising.
Undertake the testing the PSD systems and point to point wiring checks.
Qualifications
Engineering degree preferred or equivalent education and relevant electrical engineering experience.
CAD Experience of Detailed Electrical Installation Design.
Ideally Broad railway experience on railway systems or APM systems Vehicles PSD CBTC Signalling PSDs Alignments.
Site Experience Installation and Testing and Commissioning.
Candidates must be fluent in English and additional knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage.
