RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers to generate new business for the organization.
• Makes telephone calls (cold-calls) and in-person visits (sales-calls) to asses and develop business opportunities.
• Ability to demonstrate products and services to current/prospective customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
• Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
• Ability to communicate, build and maintain excellent relationships with C-level personnel among current customers and prospective customers.
• Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
• Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.
• Analyzes the market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organization.
• Ability to plan and execute a clear-cut sales strategy for the assigned products/services resulting to meet set sales target/quota.
• Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing
and technical service areas.
• Participates in trade shows and conventions.
REPORTING:
• Reports accurately to the Sales Manager on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
• Reports accurately to the company's channel partners in regard of [sales forecast, pipeline updates, and activity report].
