· Attaining monthly, quarterly and annual sales and profitability goals while successfully managing all business-related expenses
· Driving sales success by providing leadership, coaching and guidance to an assigned
agent/distributor that acts as our primary relationship-builder and local
market touch-point for Zurn Industries.
· Developing, coordinating and implementing a territory spec-sales development program,
aligned with the goals of the business, to grow sales in the assigned territory through personal sales activities and through the management and direction of the local agent/distributor.
· Promoting the company and product lines via a grass roots knowledge/marketing campaign that focuses on engineering firms and consultants, government departments, industrial and
commercial business/corporations and institutional operations.
· Assisting Mechanical and Civil engineering consultants as well as commercial, institutional and industrial contractors and end-users in defining scope of work, project proposals and specifications for Zurn products.
· Driving regulatory change at the local municipal level to place Zurn’s product lines at the top of the confidence pyramid vs. the competition
·Following up on proposals/quotes/orders/installations, primarily through the agent/distributor, but also directly in the case of high profile, high return projects.
· Communicating local sales and marketing activities, competitive dynamics and developing industry needs routinely and effectively back to the business through management, marketing and technical channels.
· Assisting the efforts of the business development manager to leverage local successes into
larger scale projects.
· Actively driving the local sales plan in the territory every day, with overnight travel expectation of at least 50%
