The Group Head of Fraud Management and Insurance Management will be responsible for:
Fraud Management
• Implement GFM (Group Fraud Management Framework).
• Ensure GFM governance, Policy and Procedures, Fraud Risk Mitigation, role responsibilities, controls, process mappings
• Design and implement SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) with internal and external service providers.
• Ensure the GFM covers the following Fraud events: Documentary, Debit and Credit Cards, Internal/External Fraud investigations.
• Represent the Bank on all GFM issues within all the Banks geographies that involve regulators and Service Providers (such as Rating Agencies, Correspondent Banks, External Auditors, Regulators and Central Banks).
• Development and maintain an appropriate GFM database, ensuring effective fraud dispute registration, tracking and timely resolution.
• Facilitate/Support GFM awareness by assisting with in-house workshop training sessions.
Insurance Management
• Design and Implement a GIF(Group Insurance Framework) objectively ensuring governance, Policy and Procedures, risk mitigation.
• Design and implement SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) with both internal and external service providers.
• Review the group’s insurance program ensuring all risk scenarios that are covered through insurance, terms and conditions of insurance contracts, deductibles and limits
• Negotiate and maintain a group LTA (Long Term Agreement) with a reputable Insurance broker and ensure competitive cover, policy wording and commercial terms for the bank with the insurer/broker.
• Facilitate/Support GIM awareness by assisting with in-house workshop training sessions.
• Ensure all internal business requirements are taken into consideration when scoping insurance products with broker or insurer directly.
Operational Risk
• Accountable to the Head of Operational Risk and Business Continuity, Risk for ensuring that businesses actively manage their operational risks through the internal control process as defined in the Fraud Management and Operational Risk policies.
• Support the ORM Framework by assisting with the completion of KRI’s, RCSA’s and BIA/BCP’s for all businesses.
• Ensure compliance to ORM policy for operational incident/loss incidents within ORM Risk tool (Risk Nucleus)
• Facilitate/Support ORM awareness by assisting with in-house workshop training sessions.
• Follow-up on breach events of control standards, key risk indicators and loss events across the bank.
Fraud Management
• Coverage of internal and external fraud management across the Group, including all geographies, business lines, support functions, customer segments, and product types
• Ensure application of operational risk, Fraud Management and Group Insurance policies and procedures across all business units
• Establish and implement principles and Fraud policies that are aligned to the needs of the Bank and meet the best practice standards demanded for an effective and efficient fraud risk management function
• Assess the best option for an IT based fraud monitoring system and assist in the implementation to ensure compliance with best practice
• Conducting internal investigations on GFM matters
• Conducting GFM awareness training for key areas in the Bank
• Participate with business in product development, planning for cards, including system selection, parameter setting, authorization controls
• Implement the fraud tracking and alert system within Cards Management system
• Implement appropriate process end to end controls ensuring Fraud detection, mitigation and prevention.
