About Your Job:
To manage all Procurement requirements in a given or group of product categories, setting category strategy, interfacing with colleagues of all levels and managing the supply to ensure best value for the company in line with its strategic, financial and operational requirements.
Financial: Ensure best value at all times for goods and services procured on behalf of the organisation.
Operational: Interface with internal user departments and suppliers on procurement projects, Ensure user clearly defines requirements and obtains relevant approvals. Products, goods, services and suppliers sourcing, RFQ management and administration for high value and high priority requirements, Negotiate with suppliers on costs, commercial and contractual terms, Ensure conformance at all times of the organization to Procurement process, Provision of strategic analysis to assist in category strategy definition and KPI monitoring.
Management: manage multiple procurement projects in tandem, prioritized according to company's strategic, financial and operational requirements, Actively manage team and team workload, setting priorities, coaching and assisting in problem resolution.
Leadership: Seek out, propose and implement business process improvements, Show initiative in anticipating future issues, planning for them and executing plans on a timely basis
About You:
You will have the ability to manage multiple procurement projects in accordance to company's strategic, financial and operational requirements.
You will actively manage a team, set priorities, coach and assist in problem resolution. You will be accountable for decisions taken and project delivery.
You will have the ability to work independently, demonstrating forward planning, initiative and business process improvement while also taking responsibility for self and team development.
You will hold degree level education with minimum of 10 years experience in a procurement role ideally with management experience.
Applicants with a background in global corporate companies will be preferred.
You will display strong communications skills, numeracy and ability to present data clearly and accurately.
This is a Doha, Qatar based position.
