• Reviews and approves projects prepared by electrical section.
• Designs and conducts supervision of electrical requirements and services for large scale projects. Prepares all systems details such as schematics, calculations, schedules and connections.
• Co-ordinates for with other departments for all project stages including concept design, preliminary design, detail design and approval.
• Prepares full specifications for all power and extra low voltage systems.
• Follows-up with the updated requirements from departments for implementation.
• Represents AEB’s interests in projects and government meetings to ensure work carried out is in line with client’s requirements and government regulations and attends discussions with departments.
• Reviews and approves manufacturers main-switchboard panels for all projects.
• Designs electrical requirements for new projects to obtain first in-principal approval from government departments and client.
• Supervises a team of Electrical Draftsmen.
• Conducts sites visits and assessment, as required to execute design work.
• Keeps records and documents for projects handled.
• Mentors junior engineers which, includes providing clarifications for electrical site engineers.
• Design electrical sercvices for large scale construction projects
• Liaising with related departments and vendors to achieve optimal design
EDUCATION
-Degree in Electrical Engineering
EXPERIENCE
-At least 12 years of experience with experience in working with large consultancy firms
-Gulf experience preferred
