Position: Traffic Manager Location: Qatar Salary: USD 10,000 - 12,000 (all-inclusive) dependent upon experience ATA GSS have an exciting opportunity for a Traffic Manager to be based in Qatar with a leading Project Management Company (PMC) in
the GCC.

- Responsible for assessing traffic needs and delegate projects to team members based on current workload.- Continue to improve the traffic system design, and maintain the developments of traffic management guidelines documentation.- Recommend and implement process improvements, and internal traffic management processes- Work closely within the hierarchy to evaluate and assign projects, and manage Senior and Junior traffic engineers.- Involved in report writing and interfacing with the client.- Collaborate with the team on process improvement.- Attend weekly meetings with the design team.- Reviews consultants traffic drawing submittals and performs technical bid analyses on transportation related designs.- Validate the review of the traffic models prepared by the consultants and reviewed by the consultants.- Review and validate traffic impact studies.- Check traffic safety and volume studies.- Checking of operation / traffic management manuals.- Review and/or prepares if needed issues specifications, data sheets and other traffic construction documents as necessary.- Supports the review and checks of traffic in coordination of the highway and roads designs including BOQ checks and reviews. Will also prepare responses to RFIs for assigned design and construction projects.- Reviews the scope of design work according to the contract and monitors progress of design work by others.- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Requirements
- Degree essential- Chartered or PE preferred- Minimum of 15 years working experience and minimum of 5 years in managing traffic units of a high calibre transportation firms and
transportation modeling on road and major highway projects- Hands on experience with modeling using VISUM and VISSIM, traffic analysis, Traffic Impact Studies and all traffic engineering work- Proficiency in utilising CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with tra
