Reporting to the Senior Resident Engineer and is the person primarily responsible for the provision of the Construction Supervision Services of the Commercial aspects.
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following
• Preparation of internal Value Reports on a monthly basis Preparation of Valuations/Applications monthly with full supporting documentations in an efficient and timely manner
• Preparation of Cost Report to the clients on a monthly basis with full supporting documentations
• Monitoring and recommendation of payments through to agreement of final accounts
• Production and rigorous management of Early Warning Notices.
• Preparation, negotiation, agreement of Compensation Events/variations and extension of time claims
• Identifying and proactively managing all commercial risks and opportunities and instigate value engineering exercises
• Tender reconciliations and earned value reports
• Allocations of costs against subcontractors’ bids and materials schedules
• Preparation of forensic planning to determine entitlement to Extension of Time and Loss and Expense, delay analysis
• Relevant Event Report and Scott schedules based on the Society of Construction Law’s protocol.
• Prepetition of Change Requests, Site Instruction & Variation Orders
• Liaison with Clients and Contractor on broad commercial matters
