The challenge? Be at the center of a global leader in fullservice engineering consulting and construction. Each day our Land Surveyor will be responsible for leading and carrying out Land Surveys for infrastructure works and landscaping. Selected candidate will be a selfmotivated professional with experience of new township developments including housing schools communal industrial areas and roads from inception through design construction and handover with a minimum of ten years of experience and a desire to grow personally and professionally with each Land Surveyor job.
Our Land Surveyor will
- Prepare and maintain maps sketches and reports in order to describe certify and calculate quantities.
- Direct and conduct Survey in order to inspect and report the contractor site work.
- Record the results of surveys including the shape contour location elevation and dimensions of land features building layouts and land.
- Review and check the contractor shop drawings and quantities.
- Coordinate with Project Inspection Department for final survey approvals
- QC and coordinate layout with the contractor's surveyors and will require extensive field work
CH2M HILL is providing project management services for King Abdullah University of Science and Technology KAUST and the neighboring town of Thuwal in Saudi Arabia on a fouryear plus contract. Situated on the scenic Red Sea an hour north of the second largest Saudi Arabian city and seaport Jeddah KAUST is a truly spectacular facility and is slated to become a major center of research training the next generation of scientists engineers and technologists in the Middle East.
This program is a wonderful opportunity to work overseas on a cultural immersive and dynamic project as well as grow your professional portfolio with a top global company.Basic Qualifications- A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in building industry or similar industry and has Land Surveyor experience on large projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or other related field with training in Land Surveying with professional license preferred. Able to leadcontrol and carry our Site Survey Works
- Registered Land Surveyor is preferred
- Able to collect upload and download survey data
- Have experience with GPS GIS AutoCAD and Surveying Software
- Fluent in English Reading and writing
