Responsibilities
Market Share
Develop a seamless relationship with and understand the needs of each existing and potential customer at the plant level. Use Integrated Life Cycle Management concept to proactively seek opportunities to support our customers in the development of their asset management and improvement strategies across the total plant covering all equipment and systems.
In alignment with the global business establish and maintain a comprehensive view of the local market both OEM and OOEM continually feeding back market data and the suitabilitycompetitiveness of our offerings to the Product Lines. Jointly developed product strategies to ensure that all opportunities are exploited.
Manage the customer interface for all issues including technical correspondence and resolution of delivery queries. Own customersales oriented initiatives whether defined within the LSC or outside e.g. Installed Base Portfolio
Volume Profitability
Provide input to and then realise the TYP in terms of volume achieved and profitability offered. Take ownership of the order forecasting
Ensure that incomes over dues and bonds are closely managed and actions taken to maximise the position of the Company.
Performance Management
Set up and manage the performance of the Sales Team. Ensure that the Sales organisation fits the needs of the business and that the personnel are developed and managed in order to deliver the required performance. Ensure metrics are in place to measure this
Drive the efficiency and performance of the Sales Force and ensure usage of the tools provided e.g. Power SalesILCM.
Seek continuous improvement and take opportunities to simplify and improve processes wherever possible
Interfaces
Maintain strong relationships with the Product LinesIntegrated Solutions in order to ensure successful implementation of the Product to Market strategy.
Work in close collaboration with GPS and maintain relationships with all relevant Alstom Units both within and outside Thermal Services and the Power Sector seeking to create value for the Alstom Group as a whole to leverage synergies at all times and to identify and propose global offerings MA opportunities etc.
General
Establish a culture of zerotolerance for EHS violations by putting in place structures and processes that ensure Alstom's EHS policies are known and followed by all employees.
Promote the Alstom Values Trust Team Action develop a team spirit and enhance the sense of belonging to TS and Alstom.
Comply with and ensure strict compliance with Alstom's Code of Ethics in all business dealings.
