GM of Poultry Business Operations

We are currently recruiting a General Manager of Operations for our client a poultry grandparent distributor in Saudi Arabia. This is an exciting and fast paced role which requires an industry experienced GM that will be responsible for the operations of all aspects of the business.


JOB DESCRIPTION


Job Purpose


To function as second in command in rank within the organisation.


To lead and develop the company and to designate the leader of departments within the organisation.


Key Accountabilities Responsibilities


The primary roles of the GM of Business Operations



  • Shape and develop division strategy and organization.


    • Ensure proper reporting structure with divisions and departments

    • Help identify opportunities and areas for improvement within each division

      • Advise the CEO on strategic business development and key corporate planning issues that relates and impacts the operations of the company.


        • Determine resource allocation among divisions

        • Keep the CEO informed about business activities performance opportunities and recommended courses of action

          • Lead managers to evaluate and take actions that are consistent with the company39s overall strategy.


            • Challenge basic assumptions underlying each division39s operations

            • Act as a sounding board for division heads

              • Set performance goals tailored to each division.


                • Develop operational goals for each division which are aggressive yet obtainable and tied to longterm goals of the company

                  • Monitor division performance against performance goals to ensure progress is being made and corrective action if necessary is taken.


                    • Ensure adherence to annual budgets

                    • Build an organizational culture in which passion for continuous improvement is innate

                      Specific Duties



                      • Strategic management of the production shipping receiving technology inventory and facility management departments

                      • Optimisation of customer satisfactionloyalty through improved operations

                      • Implementation of productivityquality metrics and of incentive programs designed to minimize costs and enhance efficiency

                      • Effective planning and layout of workflow equipment and assembly procedures

                      • Recruiting hiring coaching and developing staff

                      • Maximizing of workforce

                      • Successful contract negotiation

                      • Budget Planning


                        • Responsible to over view Hatcheries Breeder Operations Nutrition Programs Feed Mill Operation and Growout.

                        • Oversee all aspects of companyacirc128153s poultry Broiler amp Layers Operation.

                        • Will ensure compliance with all applicable government rules amp regulations as well as safety and quality assurance.
