Providing exceptional Quality Assurance Control forms a critical role in our delivery of this 4 year program of works. Operating as part of the Senior Management teamPMO and reporting to the Project Director the Quality Manager at KAUST calls for an industry leading professional. Requiring a minimum of 20 years' experience including similar roles of responsibility on mega projects and programs this position directs the Quality function for the program which involves a variety of building and infrastructure projects at this world class university.
The role
Develop implement and enforce the project Quality Control plan
Coordinate with other functional managers to ensure correct implementation of project guidelines contracts and other related procedures
Coordinate and perform quality audits for the implementation of work process and contract procedures
Ensures project quality objectives are met
Responsible for obtaining the necessary commercial and quality resources to plan and execute the work
Provide or ensure training of project personnel on quality programs and processes
Provide technical support on QAQC related issuesBasic Qualifications
The ideal candidate must have a thorough knowledge of commercial and quality assurancecontrol methods practices and international codes standards and procedures along with the ability to demonstrate and advanced knowledge of continuous quality improvement concepts principles and theories.
