The role is to be based in their regional head office in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. Job RoleAs the Senior Planning Engineer on this project you will be work on a team of 6 Planners reporting to the Project Controls Manager. You will be responsible for monitoring works progress planning and schedule reviews update schedules and corrective schedules. You will be a handson Planner with in depth knowledge of Primavera P6 which will be used on a daily basis. Project My client is one of the top consulting engineers in the world and has a variety of ongoing project management and supervision contracts on projects throughout the world. This particular project is a recent award and will consist of design and supervision of a large modern build project in the heart of Riyadh. The end client is a government authority of Saudi Arabia. Location The successful candidate will be based in the regional head office in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. Minor visits to site will be requested of those based in the Head Office to sometimes work alongside the site personnel to supervise the contractor works. Riyadh is the capital and largest city of Saudi Arabia and has excellent links to the rest of the Kingdom GCC region and rest of the world via the King Khaled Airport. Riyadh is home to some of the World's most prestigious projects and has seen huge investment in the infrastructure of the country. Alongside the local workforce there are many expat communities that are based in the city. Salary Package The salary package is dependant on expectations. Requirements For this role the ideal candidate will have the following Qualified to degree level in Engineering or equivalent. No less than 15 years experience in engineering. Proven track record on large build and civil projects. Experience on design and supervision contracts working with a consulting engineer. 10 years working in planning scheduling and cost control. Thorough experience and understanding of project management project life cycle civil engineering and build projects. Excellent interpersonal skills.
