We are looking for a Lead Site Engineer to be based at Jeddah KAIA Airport Saudi Arabia.
Your Role
To coordinate site engineering activities throughout the Jeddah APM project from design interface with the client and subcontractors through to installation and test and commissioning of the APM system at the airport.
Your Responsibilities
Coordinate review of the APM design elements Vehicle PSD Guideway PSDs Signalling and Communications with the client and the local approvals bodies.
Coordinate the interface design of the APM systems Vehicle PSD Guideway PSDs Signalling and Communications with the client and the local installation subcontractors of the Electrical and Mechanical items.
Assist in selection of the local installation subcontractors Coordinate the management of the local installation subcontractors.
Ensure the installation works are carried out and supplied items are provided and controlled in accordance with Bombardier's Quality processes Project Quality Plans Engineering Specifications and report and track to closure any nonconformances arising. Liase regularly with the Regional and CoC Quality Managers on all matters pertaining to Quality at site.
Coordinate the on site test and commissioning activities in a structured way.
Qualifications
B.S. Engineering preferred or equivalent education and experience.
Ideally Broad railway experience on railway systems or APM systems Vehicles PSD CBTC Signalling PSDs Alignments.
Site Experience Installation and Testing and Commissioning.
Candidates must be fluent in English and additional knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage.
