• Develop a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve the long term vision of the company.
• Establish and implement short and long term departmental goals and spell out the key initiatives to achieve the goals.
• Develop the Annual Sales, Margin and expenses Plan.
• Ensure that company is achieving its sales and margin targets as per the plan and within the specified time lines.
• Increase brand awareness by marketing campaigns to ensure that company is increasing share by targeting new market to increase its sales.
• Oversees the development of monthly/quarterly sales plans and ensures that sales meet agreed targets as per the plan.
• Develops and maintains strong relationship with the company key customers in order to support business growth and maintain an edge vs. competitors.
• Develop the annual budgets for the sales and approves it by the management.
• Devise plan to control expenditures and communicate to team accordingly.
• Review and monitor all spending and ensure that these are within the set budget and improving the overall sales of the company.
• Agrees performance objectives & KPIs with direct reports and ensures the same is converted to all units/functions.
• Conduct market research for ongoing and future projects including:
• Analysis of target market for the products.
• Assess supply & demand position of each product.
• Identify target markets and plan to reach them most effectively
• Analyze product in conjunction with sales strategy and market trends, recommend new strategies based on market trends, taking into consideration increase in competition from competitors and the overall macro and micro economic conditions.
