About the Business
Job Purpose:
As an integral part of the Building Engineering Practice Area; the Building Structures Group operates throughout the Middle East and Internationally to provide a comprehensive design service.
By applying our expertise and a client focused approach to all our designs, we believe we can offer the best in value engineering whilst meeting objectives. We deliver quality building engineering solutions to respond to our clients’ needs.
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Priorities in this role will include:
• Report to the Team Leader Building Structures.
• Work with Team Leader to develop a strong Client focused brand.
• Work in a multidisciplinary design team to successfully deliver multidiscipline solutions for building projects.
• A strong commitment to design and also be able to demonstrate excellent commercial skills
• A strong understanding of analytical techniques and be able to work with team members to deliver innovative solutions based on sound engineering theory.
• An interest in building design and demonstrate an ability to work from first principles to deliver best solutions to meet Client needs.
• An ability to work on projects in collaboration with the regional team to deliver a sustainable business with health levels of profits through careful assessment and management of commercial risks
• A strong working knowledge of contract types, industry standard appointments and other industry standard guides and documentation is essential. A track record of working with high profile architects is a distinct advantage
