Job Purpose:
To perform Job Analysis through the use of established job design and analysis techniques. Work closely with all line management and QF staff at all levels to perform job analysis aiming to document jobs in terms of input, throughput and output. Coordinate with external staff in Recruitment, Training and Development, line focal points for the proper documentation, filing, system archiving and safe keeping of all QF job descriptions. The incumbent will be expected to carry out benchmarking exercises, market search, surveys and trend analysis to ensure job design is in line with established standards and acceptable industry norms. Play a major role in identifying, recommending, developing, and executing job analysis and documentation support to all stakeholders.
KEY RESULT AREAS
Conduct Job Analysis by observing & interviewing, staff and supervisory personnel.
Conduct focus group meetings to collect job, organizational, and occupational information.
Research job and employee requirements, structural and functional relationships among jobs and occupations, and occupational trends to understand the building blocks of QF Jobs.
Analyzes occupational data, such as physical, mental, and training requirements of jobs and workers and develops written summaries, such as job descriptions, job specifications.
Lead and manage job design projects effectively and ensure that they are delivered on time.
Prepare document project scopes, deliverables and contents, tracking and reporting requirements on all aspects of the job design function and related activities
Identify and develop new prospects and projects into the establishment/buildup of job family modeling ensuring quality descriptions and governance.
Support all job family modeling activities by developing and maintaining information databases to include; information collation on available jobs, best practices in job design, innovations and tools in the area of job design and documentation.
Prepare briefs, periodical reports and statistical data on status of objectives and activities.
Follow-up and coordinate on all aspects of the job design function and facilitate meetings and discussions on job design and related areas to the organization design.
Assess needs and participate in developing job analysis instruments and materials.
