Our client is seeking Saudi Nationals with a chemical or chemical engineering degree (Entry Level +) who are interested in becoming patent practitioners. Our client is also interested in recruiting experienced expatriate IP Lawyers/Patent Attorneys (4 years’+ experience).

You will be primarily responsible for supporting the Lead IP Counsel, KSA, Middle East & Africa, Manufacturing and Technology & Innovation leaders in developing and implementing IP strategy, providing legal and IP counseling and contract support to enhance the value of SABIC technology. This will include patent preparation, prosecution and maintenance, drafting and negotiating IP agreements, patent litigation and IP due diligence.
SABIC is keen to attract Saudi nationals that have a chemical or chemical engineering degree who are interested in becoming patent practitioners. SABIC will also consider expatriate IP counsel or Patent Attorneys but a chemical, chemical engineering or life sciences education and background is essential and legal experience from the US, UK or Europe and admission to a recognized bar is preferred.
