Purpose:
To establish and manage Alkhorayef Petroleum Company (APC)'s Global Talent Management and Acquisition programs in order to ensure that APC has capacity, capabilities and required performance level to acquire and manage its talent and to achieve its strategic objectives within country specific labor regulations, and adopted policies and procedures.
Strategic Business Partnership
•Liaises with business leaders, by participating in periodic interactions/meetings, to understand business trends/challenges and provide wide range of relevant strategic and operational HR interventions within relevant HR domains.
Talent Management
•Manages and monitors the performance management system globally and recommends corrective actions for employees’ development
•Ensures training of performance goals settings, monitoring performances and formal and informal reviews in order to ensure the consistency of APC performance management system
•Monitors and validates annual bonus and merit increase recommendations in order to ensure its alignment with performance management metrics
•Develops and updates APC’s competencies framework and ensure proper communication, training and utilization of competencies in employees’ development. Develops and implements Corporate programs and guidelines for all talent management efforts, such as performance management system, succession planning, career planning and development, employee assessments and talent pipelines
•Develops communication material to raise awareness and to ensure a proper utilization of APC’s talent management programs in order to increase employee engagement and retention of talent
Talent Acquisition Management
•Prepares APC’s manpower plan with projections of requirements, including required budgets in collaboration with Executive and Management teams, and ensures a proper execution of the plan in order to meet APC’s strategic objectives Develops, maintains and manages Corporate talent acquisition guidelines for selection process activities such as applicants’ screening, shortlisting applicants, interviews, psychometric assessment, and various group activities to enhance APC’s selection criteria and ensure its attraction of best-fit talent
•Designs and reviews application forms and other recruitment materials such as brochures, website and recruitment advertisements as required
•Introduces, manages and maintains automated talent acquisition management platforms, such as Oracle’s iRecruitment, online psychometric assessment, and train Global HRBPs and relevant managers on it use and applications.
Budgeting
•Participates in the Human Resources and Compliance Department budgeting cycle and provides input to the budgeting process
•Ensures effective utilization of Global Talent Management and Acquisition’s budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered
•Investigates and proposes implementing strategies that result in positive financial impact for APC and mitigates financial and operational risks
Policies and Procedures
•Recommends improvements to Global Talent Management and Acquisition’s policy and directs the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering high quality and cost-effective results
•Stimulates peers and contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
•Conducts periodic audits so as to ensure compliance to APC Talent Management & Acquisition policy, regulations and practices, as well as local practices in this domain
Talent Management
•Develops metrics for measuring the effectiveness of talent management and acquisition processes and presents related ROI reports when needed to the management
