2. Implements the approved branch business plan and budget to achieve sales targets
3. Manage the day to day operations of the branch
4. Identifies potential customers and builds healthy prospects pipeline at all times
5. Manages and controls manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage and shipment of product
6. Ensures effective and efficient processing of customer orders by the CoC
7. Keeps track of the branch operations- including client due diligence, requests opening of client credit accounts, handle client queries and complaints. Develops the services provided to clients and introduces new initiatives and ideas
8. Ensures periodic maintenance or repair of equipment during and after a warranty period
9. Co-ordinates with Marketing (Product Management) for non standard pricing and ensures customer/client needs are well understood
10. Performs and monitors sales reporting, measurement, follows up and achieves sales target by product mix and salesman
11. Forecasts annual net sales value, product mix, profitability and key account for the branches
12. Provides accurate annual and rolling sales revenue forecasts by value, quantity/ product mix, profitability and key accounts for the branches
13. Follows set pricing policies and sales terms and conditions
14. Builds a solid customer pipeline with a disciplined approach for
15. Achieves maximum efficiency on receivable collection control with full adherence customer credit terms and conditions
16. Motivates the Branch team by resolving conflicts, removing barriers and providing positive recognition and feedback to achieve and surpass branch targets
17. Continually coaches the sales team to bring discipline into the selling process and to ensure that the team always consists of competent, engaged, effective and productive staff in the branch
18. Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs and results, and reports to the
Regional Manager
19. Co-ordinates with Supply Chain to ensure ‘no stock outs’ and opportunity loss for the branches by ensuring accurate material forecasting
20. Evaluates performance objectives and measures as per the framework of the EPMS. Leverages key and other alliance relationships that delivers incremental revenue opportunities to sales
21. Evaluates the performance and ensures training and development of the team is in line with the succession planning objectives
22. Drive, support, monitor and controls a detailed sales business plan for each salesman and personnel in the other functions
23. Performs other duties as required
